When the Computer Mechanic arrives he will:

1. Open PC case and uninstall legacy memory if necessary
2. Install memory upgrade
3. Test system to assure that the new memory is recognized

Computer Mechanic will call to schedule an appointment within 1 business day. Price includes trip fee.

Please NOTE:
1. PC must be immediately available to the Technician during the scheduled appointment.
2. PC must be in good working order.
3. PC must be compatible with the new memory installation.

Software Installation

When the Computer Mechanic arrives he will:

1. Begin setup of specified software
2. Accept or provide all default installation parameters
3. Test software for successful installation

Computer Mechanic will call to schedule an appointment within 1 business day. Price includes trip fee.

Please NOTE:
1. PC must be immediately available to the Technician during the scheduled appointment.
2. Minimum required resources for installation must be on hand.
3. PC must meet minimum required resources for installation.
4. Computer Mechanic not responsible for any conflicts that may occur with hardware drivers or applications due to software installation.
5. Software must be provided in its original packaging with original license key.

Operating System Installation

When the Computer Mechanic arrives he will:

1. Begin setup from Operating System disk
2. Enter all default parameters as appropriate during installation
3. Load drivers as necessary for successful peripheral operation

Computer Mechanic will call to schedule an appointment within 1 business day. Price includes trip fee and installation.

Please NOTE:
1. PC must be immediately available to the Technician during the scheduled appointment.
2. PC must have ability to boot from CD-ROM.
3. Service does not include advanced installation techniques such as dual booting, creating or changing partition information, etc.
4. If necessary, floppy disks for operation system installation must be on hand with original license key.
5. Computer Mechanic is not responsible for missing or corrupt drivers after installation.
6. Computer Mechanic is not responsible for data corruption or loss before, during, or after operating system installation.
7. Service does not include Windows updates (i.e. Security patches, driver updates, etc.).
