When the Computer Mechanic arrives he will:
1. Boot PC and ensure that Windows OS can fully load
2. Have you briefly describe the symptoms that indicated infection
3. Ascertain the presence/status of Anti-Virus software
4. Install various useful freeware/malware removal applications if necessary
5. Run System and Disk cleaner if applicable
6. Run Registry Cleaner if applicable
7. Run Start up manager and Auto run if applicable
Computer Mechanic will call to schedule an appointment within 1 business day. Price includes trip fee.
Please NOTE:
1. Service is only applicable for PCs using Windows XP (Home/Pro) or Windows 2000 with the latest Service Pack installed.
2. Bootable Rescue and Recovery CD must be on hand.
3. Data loss is always a risk when attempting to clean the registry.
